I can remember when I was a kid, my Dad actually went to town and wrote a check at Manger's Conoco.  I remember the date.  It was 07.07.07.  It was one of those things that caught his attention and since I've brought it up now, it caught mine.

Seems a lot of young couples are getting married, you guessed it tomorrow.  November 12th, 2013.  11.12.13.

Last year we had October 11, 2012. (10.11.12)

The year before September 11, 2011. (9.10.11)

According to Jessica, our Facebook Friend, we'll get one more shot next year. 12.13.14.

For now, Tuesday could be a big day.  According to CBS News,

At the altar it should be quite a scene,
On Tuesday, 11/12/13.
Couples who feel they can no longer wait,
Are vowing to marry on that date.
As for what time to do it, with precision I mean,
try 8:09:10 on 11/12/13!

Is it a big deal?  Not really.  Until you consider that the next time well have consecutive dates will be 01.02.03.

That's January 2nd 2103.

Yep, most of us won't see it.  I'm thinking it's reason for celebration on November 12, 2013.  Heck, I might even head to the gas station and 'write a check.'  Just to validate I lived through it.

I guess I am rather obsessed with numbers.

My wife and I were married on July 14, 1984.  (All Numbers divisible by 7)  I used to think that was a good luck thing, but a psychic told me most couples divorce in the 7th, 14th or 21st years.  (could have something to do with the seven year itch I guess)  We're still married so I'm not too worried about that.

How about you?  Any special plans for 11.12.13?  Any dates in your history that include consecutive numbers?
