Working out can be healthy, rewarding and beneficial, but it's never been known for being a lot of fun...until now!

Add a little Latin rhythm to your workout this Saturday, January 25th, as the Roosevelt Band Parent Association hosts a Zumbathon from 10 a.m. until noon at the R.F. Pettigrew Elementary School, located at 7900 West 53rd St. in Sioux Falls.

Here's your chance to get in on a two-hour workout with training from licensed Zumba instructor Meghan Glover.

The cost is $15.00 per person and registration begins at 9:30 that morning.

All the money raised will provide scholarships for marching band participation and help to alleviate expenses for marching band, color guard, jazz band and small ensemble competition fees, instructors, equipment and travel.

Zumba fitness was founded in 2001, and is a global lifestyle brand that fuses fitness, entertainment and culture into an exhilarating dance-fitness sensation! These Zumba exercise classes are more like "fitness parties" than workouts. The classes blend upbeat world rhythms with easy-to-follow choreography, for a total body workout that will blow you away!
