Black Friday is three weeks from today, November 2.  Black Friday is no longer about setting your alarm at midnight so you can get to the store by 4 a.m to stand in line to be one of the first to enter the store at 5 a.m.

This year, the trend continues.  Stores are opening earlier and earlier.  Target, Macy*s, Kohls, Best Buy, Walmart and Old Navy all plan on opening at Midnight.  Toys R Us will open at 9 p.m. Thanksgiving Day.  My turkey won't even be digested by that time.

If you want to get a jump start on your Black Friday shopping strategy, you should check out www.blackfriday.com.  You will see Black Friday specials before anyone else.  Victoria's Secret is offering a limited edition tote featuring beauty must haves, free with $65 purchase.  Bath & Body Works will have a 2012 VIP bag filled with products valued at $100.  No word on how much you have to spend to get it.  New Black Friday ads are released every day.

This year Black Friday falls on November 23, the earliest date possible, giving you extra time to shop between Thanksgiving and Christmas.
