6 Year Old Boy Starts Petition to Save NASA
A 6 year old boy from Denver Colorado named, Connor Johnson, has always dreamed of growing up and being a astronaut. Well last week, those dreams may have been shot because congress is threatening on cutting funding to the space program.
Well that's when Connor sprung into action! He started a online campaign to save the space program. "To get a response from the White House, I need 100,000 signatures," Johnson said.
As of Tuesday afternoon, he had over 10,000.
Here is his petition:
“Increase NASA funding. So we can discover new worlds, protect us from danger and to make dreams come true. Increase the funding for NASA so that children can dream of exploring the universe. Science funding is the future of our country.”
