The inventors of the 3D printer created a machine that prints food.

Really.

The printer called Foodini is said to be able to create anything from pizza to cakes. Foodini is the brainchild of Barcelona-based company Natural Machines. The machine is expected to be release in mid-2014 and be priced just under $1,400.

The sticker shock of $1400 is going to discourage a lot of buyers, but if you look at just one pizza delivery per week, with tip being probably somewhere in the neighborhood of $25. That would come out to $1300 a year right there!

Forgot your wife's birthday? Print a birthday cake! Your kids turn to bring the baked goods for snack day? You're covered! And don't even get me started thinking about sales of these printers in Colorado and Washington.

Dude.
