Smallville actress Allison Mack, who's facing potential jail time after being charged with involvement in infamous, alleged sex cult NXIVM, praises the outfit in a newly surfaced video from 2013 as if the organization has spearheaded a women's rights movement.

First caught by Fox Newsthe video — called "Allison Mack Q&A — You Asked, I Answered" — finds Mack answering questions about her legacy. She says “I want to be remembered for my joy...I want to be remembered for the way I impacted people. I want to be remembered as a woman who was honest and true and joyful.”

But then, she praises JNess, a supposed "women's empowerment group" that's affiliated with NXIVM.

“Working for JNess is the most gratifying thing I’ve ever done,” she said. “It’s the most challenging because it consists of working with a group of people who are interdependent. No one is ever punished or told that they’re wrong or they’re bad.”

Mack faces a minimum of 15 years in prison for her involvement in NXIVM, which has been accused of forcing women into sex acts with leader Keith Raniere (Raniere was arrested in March on sex-trafficking charges). Mack has been accused of luring other women into the cult and blackmailing them, according to Page Six.

Earlier this week, it was also reported that Mack allegedly tried recruiting Kelly Clarkson and Emma Watson into the outfit at different points over the past five years. Mack appeared at the Eastern District of New York court after a bail hearing on April 24 and was released on $5 million bail.
