Garth Brooks has landed in Sioux Falls for nine shows at the Denny Sanford Premier Center!

Right after arriving in the city, I visited with Garth for a one-on-one interview!

While in Nashville for 17 years at the Grand Ole Opry's WSM Radio, Garth made himself available for interviews whenever I asked for one. Here's some of what the country megastar has to say.

"Well it was kind of easy you being a part of the Grand Ole Opry. Everybody was sweet. I just can't believe people have any kind of interest in what I have to say. It's sweet that people ask and it's sweet that people show up for the show."

So, what does it take to commit to multiple shows in Sioux Falls?

"I don't know about any of that stuff. All I know is if a steamroller is coming it's going to roll over you. You are probably going to run faster than you have ever run. If you think you're going to have two seconds to catch your breath in front of these people---they will run over you. They are so serious about their music. They have so much fun. You want to play with them. You want to keep up. They will bring the energy. You just ride along with them."

Does Garth think about retiring again?

"No way! The biggest mistake you guys have ever made was letting me back in. My retirement days are behind me. I enjoyed my babies. But they're off to doing their own thing. It's their turn now. I'm with the love of my life. You're going to have to throw me out now. I'm having a great time."

And for the thousands of people who will attend one of Garth Brooks shows in Sioux Falls---they will be totally entertained from one of the most sincere and genuine entertainers in the business.
