An Open Invitation to a Sioux Falls Food Giveaway

Pastor Jeff Hayes of Faith Temple Church in Sioux Falls says hunger still exists in Sioux Falls.

"At the food giveaway last week, we had some kids that were crying as they came down through the line. There was a lady there passing out bread. She asked them 'what's wrong, what's wrong?' The little kids said they were so hungry. She went and got them some food. Guess what? The food cleared up their crying. Unfortunatley, there are still kids that struggle for food everyday in Sioux Falls."

Pastor Hayes says everyone is welcome to Friday's food giveaway.

"We will be having a food giveaway at 4:00 PM out at the W H Lyon Fairgrounds in the Nordstrom Johnson building. We are expecting probably 14 thousand pounds of food to feed those who are struggling in our community."

Over 400 people attended last week's Faith Temple Food Giveaway.
