Another Change For Facebook…One You’ll Probably Like

Are you burned out with Bob’s political opinions?  Do you want to punch Judy in the throat because she whines about everything?  Sick of Sally’s daily selfies?

Good news!  Just unfollow your friend on Facebook without them knowing.

According to Yahoo! News, Facebook users will be able to unfollow friends whose comments and updates they’d like to remove from their News Feed.  Users will not be notified if they’ve been unfollowed, meaning you’ll avoid any hard feelings.

A Facebook spokesperson tells Yahoo!, “The goal of this change is to help people curate their News Feed and see more of the content that they care about.”

The “Unfollow” button will replace the “Hide All” button.  There’s no date on when the “unfollow” button will be launched, but it’s a good bet it will be utilized by many.
