Are East River South Dakotans Conceited?

While grabbing a few groceries recently, this t-shirt caught my eye and I burst into laughter.

Growing up in South Dakota, I've heard it said that The Dakota's would have been better off if it were split along the Missouri River because we're more like Eastern North Dakota than Western South Dakota.

I'm proud that South Dakota contains a vast diversity of  geographical and cultural tapestries, from exit 57 on Haines Avenue in Rapid City to Exit 403 just east of Sioux Falls.  I've lived in both East and West River regions and each has its own special value.

There's something about the shirt though.  It's a dig, but to me, it's still funny.
