When I was a kid, I was told drinking coffee would stunt my growth.  I didn't want to be short, so I never drank coffee.  At 43 years old and 5' 2" tall, I'm reconsidering my decision.  I think my dad just didn't want me drinking his coffee.

Remember back in the old days when your coffee choices were decaf or regular? Now, you have literally hundreds of flavors to choose from thanks to coffee joints like Starbucks and a little coffee machine called a Keurig.

There are over 150 Keurig K-cups ranging in flavors from Mudslide to French Vanilla to Pumpkin Spice.

According to Statisticbrain.com, 54% of Americans over the age of 18 drink coffee everyday and we spend nearly $18 billion yearly on specialty coffee in the U.S.

If you're addicted to coffee and you just can't go a day without it.  It might not be a bad thing.  According to Life Extension Magazinenot only is coffee packed with antioxidants, but it is the greatest source of antioxidants in the American diet.  The average American coffee drinker consumes about 3.1 cups of coffee a day, but research has found that higher volumes, as much as 4-12 cups daily, can help prevent most major killers, including cardiovascular disease, cancer, diabetes, liver disease and Alzheimer's disease.

A recent survey asked "What is the best K-cup?"   The winner was Green Mountain Coffee Pumpkin Spice.  Go to our Facebook page and tell us what your favorite flavor is.
