Do you like the Assassin’s Creed games? Then we have good news for you: you’ll love the trailer for the Assassin’s Creed movie, which looks exactly like the video game.

There is always the debate when adapting any property whether you want to try to stay as faithful as possible to the source material, or forge your own unique take. Assassin’s Creed director Justin Kurzel certainly opted for the former. It makes for a great trailer (which could be mistaken for cut scenes from the game), but will it make for a great movie?

The Assassin’s Creed trailer is also great if you like watching guys jumping off things. I counted 17 shots of characters jumping, including one big, dramatic shot at the end of Michael Fassbender’s character performing the “Leap of Faith” off the top of a tall building. The trailer is not so great if you don’t love Kanye West, as the trailer is set to Yeezy’s “I Am a God” (but sadly lacks that songs best line, “Hurry up with my damn croissants!”)

Through a revolutionary technology that unlocks his genetic memories, Callum Lynch (Michael Fassbender) experiences the adventures of his ancestor, Aguilar, in 15th Century Spain. Callum discovers he is descended from a mysterious secret society, the Assassins, and amasses incredible knowledge and skills to take on the oppressive and powerful Templar organization in the present day.
