Stew MagnusonSIOUX FALLS – The author of “Wounded Knee 1973: Still Bleeding” will present the book at a conference at Augustana College on Saturday.

According to Stew Magnuson, a Washington-based journalist, “there is still lots of pain and many questions about what truly happened” forty years after the 73-day occupation at Wounded Knee.

“Wounded Knee 1973: Still Bleeding,” which is published in ebook and traditional form, tells the story of the occupation and the gathering of the major and minor characters at last year’s Dakota Conference.
