With my roots and heart in South Dakota, I grew up in Corson, attended school in Brandon, Technical College in Sioux Falls and returned back home to South Dakota seven years ago, after living in Canada for 13 years. I have 2 wonderful children. Throughout the day you may find me behind the mic in the newsroom at 4:30 am, sipping an Americano at a coffee shop while researching a story… and you may catch me having a quick nap outside of school before the bell rings and she picks up her kids. "I love laughing with my kids, grabbing a coffee with a friend, antique shopping, singing along with the radio, and wishing I could fit more to do in my day. I wonder what my kids' lives will be like when they’re adults and am realizing how fast their time goes living at home!"
