My journey began on a farm near Wagner, South Dakota. Eventually I landed at the institution of higher learning in Vermillion. My adult life consists of about 12 years in Yankton and Sioux Falls since 2007. The earliest designs of a career in radio originated from a career day in 6th grade when I was given course offerings to different colleges and the subjects I wanted to pursue were farming and radio. The year was 1989 on a Sunday afternoon in a small room at the Telecom center where I first put a needle on a record. A lot of things have changed as that building is now called the Al Neuharth Center on the campus of the University of South Dakota. Joining me in this life journey is my beloved wife along with my three children.
