Authorities Release Sketch of Suspect in I-90 Assault

Law enforcement agencies in South Dakota are still asking the public for help in finding a suspect in an assault last Thursday night on Interstate 90 near Mile Marker 401, between Interstate 229 and the Brandon exit.

The Attorney General's office says a woman had parked her white Toyota Camry on the shoulder of westbound I-90 when she was approached and seriously assaulted.

The suspect is described as a white male, five-feet-nine to six feet tall with a medium build. He had a scruffy beard and a raspy voice, and he was wearing a dark-colored baseball cap and possibly boots that could be steel-toed.

He may have been driving a square-type vehicle, possibly an older diesel pickup.
