One of South Dakota's most stunning national parks is raising their entrance fee starting next year. Badlands National Park will be raising their prices to enter the 244,000 acres of layered rock formations, steep canyons and towering spires.

According to rapidcityjournal.com, Annual passes will increase from $30 to $40 in 2017 and to $50 in 2019; per-vehicle passes will increase from $15 to $20 in 2017 and $25 in 2019; per-motorcycle passes will increase from $10 to $15 in 2019; and per-person fees (bicyclists, pedestrians and so on) will increase from $7 to $10 in 2017 and $12 in 2019.
