The BBC was in South Dakota in December and did a number of stories about the state for their BBC Pop Up series. The feature released Friday focuses on the music scene in the state ranging from the days of the Pomp Room, Psychedelic Nu Metal from Burke, to "Rap Music From the Middle of Nowhere" with Soulcrate.

Last week's feature was on life as a young Native American in South Dakota.

The first feature released in December was filmed in Sioux Falls and also shows a detour in Chicago asking people there what they think of South Dakota.
