Ben’s Recipe & a Video
Ben’s “Recipe & a Video” is a new feature that I will try really hard to post every Thursday. It’s like “Dinner and a Show” only a lot shorter.
My goal is to bring you a darned adequate recipe that I’ve tried out and would like to recommend to you. And a video that you will find worthy of your time.
“Rhubarb Rainbow Crisp”. If you are like me and have a patch of Rhubarb that you feel guilty about not using up, try this recipe. No one is more surprised than me that this turned out to be really tasty. Not only is it nummy it’s pretty darned easy to prepare.
Here ya go:
*Grab a 9 x 12 x 2-inch backing pan. Give it a spritzin’ with your favorite nonstick spray.
Here’s what ya need:
-4 to 5 cups of cubed rhubarb (raw)
-1 cup sugar
-1 (3 oz) package of strawberry Jello
-1 “Party Chip Rainbow” cake mix (Or whatever cake mix you think might make your rhubarb happy)
-1 1/4 cup water
-1/2 cup butter (Never be stingy with your butter)
What to do:
-Layer the rhubarb into the pan -Sprinkle Jello powder over the rhubarb -Keep on sprinkling with your cake mix -Sprinkle sugar at will -Pour water over that -Pour your melted butter over that and bake this sucker at +350 for about an hour or until crispy brown. Let cool and chow down!
This is a very inspiring clip of Christopher Duffley. He is an amazing kid. He was born premature, blind, and autistic. Christopher was adopted by his parents before they realized God has gifted this young fellow with the gift of music!
This recording is from the 2011 “New Hampshire Night of Worship” celebration where over 1,300 followers of Christ gathered to sing praises to Jesus Christ!
