’2 Broke Girls’ star Beth Behrs recently had a close encounter of the pit bull kind when a neighbor’s dog lunged at her — but fortunately, no one was hurt.

TMZ reports the actress and her Yorkie were out for a walk on Wednesday when they met one of their neighbors, who was walking a lab and a pit bull mix. For reasons unknown, the pit then “reared up” and tore off a chunk of Behrs’ sweater.

While she and her dog were OK, she was still pretty upset and called Animal Control. The neighbor was fined and told to “keep the dogs under better control.”
