Better Temper Your Tantrums or Plan on Dying Early
Need a good reason to quit being such a damn hothead? Is dying good enough?
A new study out of the University of Copenhagen, in Denmark has found that if you're one of these people that regularly gets into arguments, you should probably plan on leaving the planet early.
People who are constantly getting into fights with their spouse, their neighbors, coworkers, grocery store bag boys, or some jack-bag that flips you the bird in traffic, are far more likely to die sooner than mild mannered folks.
As a matter of fact, you're 50 to 100% more likely to shuffle off the planet sooner if you make it a habit to fight with your spouse or your children. And 200 to 300% more likely to punch your ticket early if you routinely argue with other people outside of your family.
And we're not just talking heart attacks that will kill you. These types of people are also prone to die from accidents. All that stress you possess leads to doing riskier things, like aggressive driving.
And God forbid you make the wrong person mad. These days you never know who might be packing heat. You could end up on the wrong side of a Glock, if you're not careful.
The good news, it's nothing that a series of anger manage classes can't cure.
