If one of your New Year's resolutions was to ride your bike more in 2016, good news, you can begin that one today, outside!

A number of cyclists from around the area are expected to brave the cold temps and wind chills on this New Years Day to participate in the 29th annual New Year’s Day Ride to help build awareness for the Center of Hope and help fund its Bike to Work Ministry program.

Cyclists will hit the streets of Sioux Falls around 1:00 P.M. New Year's Day. They will receive a police escort from Spoke-N-Sport to Falls Park, and the cyclists will return to the shop via the city’s bike trail.

I'm guessing they will be plenty cold by the time they're done peddling and more than ready to dive into a warm bowl of chili and some hot chocolate which will await every rider once they return.
