Biggest Grocery Store Pet Peeves
If grocery shopping could be entirely done over the internet and delivered to my house, I’d be a happy person. I hate going to the grocery store. I can never leave the grocery store with only the items I had on my list and I rarely spend less than $30 a trip. How is that possible when all I went in for was milk?
The women’s magazine, All You, conducted a survey and asked, “What is your grocery store pet peeve?” Here are the results:
26% – Inconsiderate fellow customers
21.5% – Other
16.1% – Checkout holdup
11.3% – Disappointing inventory
10.6% – Inept staff
4.7% – Cramped, disorganized aisles
3.8% – Rejected coupons
3.8% – High prices
1.6% – Have to go at all (I fall into this category)
.6% – People in PJs.
To add a few more to that list, that didn’t make the official list, but still annoy the heck out of me:
- Packers who do not know that you should not put a loaf of bread and a gallon of milk in the same bag. (This just happened to me last week.)
- People who leave those sample cups in the carts.
- When they forget to put one of your bags in the cart.
