Box Cutter or Buzz Saw? What Would You Use To Deliver A Fawn In A Ditch?

In my life I have hit deer with a Ford Mustang, Toyota Tercel, Honda CRV, Honda Pilot, Ford Van, an old Pontiac Bonneville, and a 12 gauge.  One deer actually jumped out of a ditch, by Beaver Creek, Mn., and ran into the side of MY car.  I don't know if it was an attempted suicide or some sort of retribution for all of the deer I've shot over the years?

Even though I've hit almost a 1/2 dozen deer and I am from Minnesota I've never heard of this happening before.  A dude from Prior Lake, Minnesota delivered a baby fawn after its mother was hit and killed by a car. 

According to CBS Minnesota  Bill Schulte saw a car hit a deer while driving. He pulled over and saw the deer was pregnant. Quote (use your best “Fargo” movie voice when reading this):

"I was like, she's [the mother] gone, that baby's in there kicking, I gotta do something".

So like any good Minnesotan would do, Schulte grabbed his handy box cutter and cut the fawn out of the dead mother deer. He then drove the newborn 30 miles to an animal rescue facility. Where it is doing great and when old enough will be released into the wilds of Minnesota where, no doubt, some lucky hunter will be able to harvest it for freezer meat.
