A man who was a victim of a shooting was found by police minutes after the shooting, but it was not at the shooting location. Sargent Adam Peterson says the shooting was reported by several neighbors in the 4300 block of East 18 Street near Frank Olson Park just before 1:00 AM on Friday April 15, 2016.  Witnesses say a silver or tan SUV left the area and police found that vehicle shortly after:

The vehicle had one occupant who was found to be a victim from the shooting.  He was not injured but his vehicle had bullet holes in it.  At the apartment officers also located evidence related to the shooting.  There were no injuries from this incident that were reported and no other property damage was located.
