Burt’s Bees: Something New For Parent’s to Worry About

As if things like pot, prescription drugs, and Ecstasy weren't bad enough, now parents have something else to worry about.

Apparently, there's a new way for kids to get high these days, it's called "Beezin'."

Here's how it works, kids take Burt's Bees lip balm and put it on the outside of their eyelids. It supposedly gives you a similar feeling to being drunk or high.

Physicians say it could be the peppermint oil in the balm that causes a little bit of burning and tingling. Since a person is not really supposed to have that on your eyes, it could cause a certain degree of irritation, redness and swelling. Just not death. Yet, anyway.

Hopefully your child won't be the first to experience that side effect, should it ever happen.

How long do you suppose it will be until we have to buy all of our lip balm over the counter? It keeps getting crazier everyday!

Now if we could only get kids to take the effort they put forth into figuring out different ways to get high, and actually apply all that creativity towards school, we'd have a really brilliant generation of young people.
