Camp Gilbert Poker Run Fundraiser

If you have, or know of, a child with diabetes, then you should find out more about Camp Gilbert. Camp Gilbert is a wonderful summer camp just for kids with diabetes. Kids make lifelong friends doing all the fun things everyone does at summer camp, plus they learn lifetime lessons on managing their condition.

Camp Gilbert is staffed largely by volunteers and includes: physicians, nurses, social workers, dietitians, diabetes educators and experienced camp counselors. So parents feel confident knowing their child will have tons of fun and all their medical needs will be met.

This year’s camp is July 14^th thru 19^th on Lake Enemy Swim at NeSoDak Camp near Waubay, South Dakota. There is a Poker Run Fundraiser this Saturday, May 18^th to raise money to support the camp.

The Camp Gilbert Poker Run Fundraiser starts and ends at J&L Harley Davidson. Registration is from 11:00 a.m. to 1 p.m. and you must return to J&L by 4 pm. It’s not just a cycle run either, all vehicles are welcome. The snack shack will be open with brats or burgers and drinks available for two bucks. For more info call 605-351-0027.
