I heard a really old song the other day from the early 80's called "Him" from an artist named Rupert Holmes.

You might remember Rupert Holmes, he was the guy who did the song "Escape" (The Pina Colada Song). Everybody remembers that record, right?

Anyway, Homes' follow up record "Him" was all about a guy that suspected his girlfriend was cheating on him.

The lyrics are classic,

"Over by the window, there's a pack of cigarettes. Not my brand you understand, Sometimes the girl forgets. She forgets to hide them, I know who left those smokes behind. She'll say, oh, he's just a friend, And I'll say, oh, I'm not blind to Him, him, him! What's she gonna do about him? She's gonna have to live without him, it's him or it's me, me me. No one gets to get it for free, it's me or it's him."

If Rupert Holmes really did know for sure that his lady was cheating on him, he should consider himself lucky. Because a new study has found that most people can't tell if their spouse is stepping out on them.

A study out of Brigham Young University in Utah discovered most people are clueless when it comes to knowing whether or not their significant other is being faithful. What's really weird, absolute strangers can spot it almost immediately.

In the test, they had people watch couples do a task where one was blindfolded, and the other person had to guide them to draw something.

Upon completing the task, researchers asked the strangers if the couples were faithful during the test, or if one person was cheating.

Of the people they identified as cheating, all most all of those same individuals were also caught cheating in their relationship. The strangers watching the couples got it right so often that it couldn't have been lucky guesses, the difference was that statistically significant supposedly.

So, if you suspect your partner might be seeing someone else behind your back, I guess you could go through their phone, hire someone to have them followed, or simply take the easy route to find out, just invite a couple of strangers over to play Pictionary.
