Three days after putting on a phenomenal show at The District right here in Sioux Falls, Christina Perri proves she's only human like the rest of us and needed to obtain a protective restraining order from a man who has been following her around the country.

TMZ recently released a report claiming that Perri feared that an obsessed fan who had been stalking her around the country has left her concerned that he may try and sexually assault her. She allegedly asked the man to stay away from her for the past year, but he was not cooperating.

According to TMZ, the man Scott Brannan had posted things like "I just want to love you, that's all, physically most of all" on her YouTube page, causing Perri to secure the restraining order against him.

Brannan also reportedly made contact with her family and friends, along with sending numerous emails and requests to meet him face-to-face. Those requests were denied.

Perri was not happy with the way TMZ portrayed the situation, as she eludes to in this tweet.

The restraining order ensures that Brannan must now stay 100 yards away from Perri. A hearing is planned for later this month to determine if there needs to be a further course of action.
