Christmas Tree Drop-Off Sites Open in Sioux Falls
If your cat has destroyed half the Christmas tree or you have a pile of pine needles on the carpet, it’s time to take your tree to the Christmas tree drop-off sites in Sioux Falls.
According to the City of Sioux Falls website, here’s the info:
1015 East Chambers Street
(West ofCliff Avenue by the Household Hazardous Waste Facility and Street Department.) Access is available fromNorth Drive toEastAsh Street toChambers Street, and fromNorthCliff Avenue toChambers Street. The driveway just west of the Household Hazardous Waste Facility will be the only access point.
North Lyon Boulevard
(West of Sioux Empire Fair.) Access is available fromWest12th Street toNorthLyons Boulevard and fromWestMadison Street toNorthLyons Boulevard. The driveway just north of the railroad crossing will be the only access point.
Dates and Times
Daily at 9 a.m. (open hours are dependent on weather conditions) through Sunday, January 19, 2014. Closed January 1, 2014.
Monday–Sunday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
No charge for residential loads.
Large loads and commercial loads will not be accepted and must go directly to theCityofSiouxFallsSanitary Landfill.
The customer must remove all accessories from the Christmas trees, including lights, ornaments, decorations, and stands.
Not accepted: artificial trees, bags, leaves, rubble, or household garbage.
