If your kids are bored, bring them to the Outdoor Campus this Saturday (August 2) for Outdoor University from 9am-4pm.  There will be a whole bunch of fun and educational activities.  The best part, it's free!

You and your kids can try canoeing, kayaking, fishing, archery, outdoor cooking and so much more!

Some activities require a child be 7 or older (kayaking, bb guns, archery, rock climbing), but there are a ton of other activities for the kids under 7, like casting, soft target shooting, gold panning, color a mural, color a t-shirt and take it home...just to name a few.  Remember, all of those activities are free!

Some of the booths you can visit outside include:

• Dakota Hunting and Retriever Club
• Becoming an Outdoors Woman
• SD Public Broadcasting
• Dakota Trout Unlimited
• Great Plains Zoo
• Outdoor Adventure Center of South Dakota
• South Dakota Canoe and Kayak Association
• T-shirts for Kids: color an outdoors t-shirt
