A bold robber chose to enter the convenience store across the street from the Law Enforcement Center in Sioux Falls and demand cash on Sunday October 23rd.

According to Sergeant Paul Smedsrud the robbery took place at 3:06 AM:

Officers were dispatched to a robbery at the Kum and Go, 501 N. Minnesota Avenue. The investigation revealed that a dark skinned male, approximately 5’10”, stocky build, wearing a gray colored hooded sweatshirt and dark colored jeans, entered the business and demanded money.  The subject left with an undisclosed amount of cash on foot.  No injuries were reported during the incident.

There was no mention of whether there were weapons displayed. The investigation continues with local authorities.
