Cupcakes to the Bridges

Oh My Cupcakes has been in downtown Sioux Falls for about 3 years.  Friday our good friend Melissa Johnson and her cupcake ninjas made this announcement:

We’re so excited — and we just can’t hide it! We want to shout it from the rooftops! We’re growing!

After a fantastic three (plus) years at our 4th and Main location in Downtown Sioux Falls, we’ve made the big decision to spread out (literally) and move to a new location in The Bridges at 57th and Western. What does this all mean?

• Gather: More room means we can serve more guests. Look for a newly designed dining space with open seating and lots of character.
• Celebrate: A private party room for birthdays, work meetings, book groups, Bible studies, etc.
• Linger: Our hours will expand, creating more jobs in our community and serving our guests’ sweet tooth cravings longer and later.

While we are so eager for the additional amenities we know we will be able to offer our guests, this also means we will close our downtown location with the opening of the new space. That was a tough decision, and one we didn’t take lightly. If we had the staff, time, energy, money . . . etc., we would have stayed downtown in a heartbeat! We’ve LOVED our downtown location and are sincerely grateful for every customer who visited us in the Tri-State Creamery Building. You’ve caused us to grow to the point we are now; busting at the seams in our tiny kitchen space.

We hope that you will continue to love Oh My Cupcakes! in our “new digs” at 57th and Western in The Bridges, and want you there with us to help celebrate our grand opening when that time comes. We anticipate opening there mid-summer. Keep watching our blog and Facebook page for updates as things progress over the next few months!
