Cylie Pastian – Cure Kids Cancer
Cylie Pastian of De Smet was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma at the age of 9 and beat it. In 2008, she faced cancer again, and again, beat it. She even faced the possibility of losing her leg. Cylie is a teenager now and attends high school in De Smet. Though she can’t play basketball due to increased risk of the cancer returning, she is the best basketball manager they’ve ever had! Cylie is a true hero!
