RAPID CITY - Dinosaur tracks preserved in a 7-square-foot slab of limestone are being displayed at the Journey Museum in Rapid City.

The museum says the top layer of the slab shows the tracks of at least two small theropod dinosaurs, while a tiny track is located in an underlying layer.

The limestone slab was previously on display at the Rapid City Regional Airport, but was moved to the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology several years ago. The school is loaning the slab to the Journey Museum.
