Still trying to decide who to put your money on for Super Bowl XLIX? Stop looking at team statistics, players on the team rosters and the abilities of the coaching staff.  Instead, try a much simpler approach: watch and trust the animals to help you choose the winner.

Teddy the Porcupine predicted the Seattle Seahawks to win Super Bowl XLIX on Sunday, February 1, 2015. And he might be on to something, because Teddy has correctly picked the winner for the last three Super Bowls.

But if you aren't sure you can trust a porcupine, how about a rooster?

Zoo officials at Blank Park Zoo in Des Moines, Iowa, decided to go to a rooster to find out the winner of the big game.

Rudy the Rooster confidently walks out of his crate, and with no hesitation, proudly selects the Seattle Seahawks as the upcoming champions of Super Bowl XLIX. Which is kind of ironic, considering a hawk would be a predator of a chicken.

If you aren't so sure if you should put all your money on what Rudy the Rooster from the Blank Park Zoo chooses as a winner for the big game, keep this in mind. Zoo officials said their animals have correctly picked the winner of the Big Game the last four of five years, so odds are in their favor.

Super Bowl XLIX has the New England Patriots against the Seattle Seahawks on KDLT.
