What is the secret to longevity? Or, as the old timers themselves would word it, how do you get to be long in the tooth?

Well, a study was done by researchers from Yeshiva University in New York City. They discovered that people who lived to be 100 or more had one thing in common.

And it had nothing to do with cholesterol or health food. It had to do with their personality traits.

They found the same of all individuals they studied. They were happy, optimistic folks, who tend to be outgoing, love to laugh and stay engaged in activities they enjoy.

The takeaway: Find the humor in life. Do the things you love to do. Embrace your friends. Look forward to tomorrow. And you just might live to be 100.
