There are over one-hundred people out of a job today. On Wednesday, March 11th Raven Industries downsized it's operation.  According to KDLT-TV, Raven Industries says it's part of a $13 million dollar restructuring plan.

Under performance in three of its divisions is to blame.  Specifically applied technology where they've seen a 27% loss.  Declining agriculture markets, low prices of corn and beans have all been contributors.

Even though jobless claims were slightly lower last week across the county we never like to hear of someone losing their livelihood here at home.

What can you do for those who got a pink slip?  Support them as best you can.  If you know of any leads in the job market share them as soon as possible.
