I don't like to do it but when I'm planning to be outside I always reach for the sunscreen.

It's been almost 15 years now that I was first diagnosed with skin cancer. Any form of cancer is hard to digest and it's a gut-punch when the doctor tells you those words. For me, just a couple of spots at first.

Check your own sunscreen and see if has the ingredients listed in the chart below.

So, instead of sizzling take my advice, and that of the American Cancer Society:

Slip! Slop! Slap! ...and Wrap! Slip on a shirt; slop on the sunscreen; slap on a hat and wrap on the sunglasses.
