Maybe it's another consequence of distracted driving, but this time it's putting our kids at risk.

A news study says more and more drivers are ignoring the "stop" signs on school buses.

According to the National Association of State Directors of Pupil Transportation Services, It's happening more often all across the country.

In the last year alone, more than 85-thousand drivers illegally went past school buses.

Since 1970, almost 500 students, getting on or off buses, have been killed.

So with school back in session, let's all be on the lookout for little ones getting on or off the bus.
