Lesson: If you doubt Dua Lipa, she's going to prove just how little she gives a f---.

The "New Rules" singer, who announced earlier this month that she was forced to cancel a handful of appearances at Bruno Mars concerts to get her wisdom teeth removed, found herself locked in a spat with journalist Richard Wilkins Tuesday (March 20) when Wilkins questioned the seriousness of Lipa's oral surgery.

After noticing Lipa's lively set on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Wilkins cast doubt on the seriousness of Lipa's condition during a Channel 9 News segment, according to NME.

“Well get this — she was supposed to be in Australia opening up for Bruno Mars at his 24 Karat world tour, and had to cancel due to having her wisdom teeth out,” he said on Channel 9 News. “But here she is on Jimmy Kimmel Live!

But Lipa was quick to correct Wilkins, noting that the segment had been filmed before her oral troubles began.

“If you were a good journalist you would’ve done proper research instead of talking out of your ass. Jimmy Kimmel was shot in Feb in La and aired yesterday. I’ve been in Australia on bed rest and wouldn’t have cancelled my Bruno shows if I didn’t have to," she tweeted.

And Wilkins had no choice but to concede.

"Sincere apologies @DUALIPA. Didn't mean to misinform. Assumed you were live with Jimmy K. your fans and my son have severely castigated me!"
