Forget the themes of imprisonment, emotional abuse and violent bravado that run rampant through the Beauty and the Beast fairy tale — a trailer for a new live-action remake will soothe you like a gentle lullaby.

Unveiled on Good Morning America this morning (May 23), the movie's very first teaser finds Emma Watson as protagonist Belle as she slowly sidles into the beast's castle. Eerie piano trills underscore the dark, snowy night as cobwebs manifest across walls and sconces. Finally, two voices speak as Belle thrusts the estate's hulking doors open.

"Look, a girl!"
"Yes, I can see it's a girl,."
"What if she is the one?!"

The tone shifts to something light and hopeful as Belle slowly bends down to observe a single red rose. If history is any indication, though, it might be worth her while to just, you know, pretend she never saw it and take off.

Watson was first cast in the film in January 2015, and gushed over the prospect of playing the famously compassionate bibliophile. "It was such a big part of my growing up, it almost feels surreal that I’ll get to dance to ‘Be Our Guest’ and sing ‘Something There,'" she wrote in a Facebook entry.

And the cast has since been fleshed out to include Dan Stevens as Beast, Luke Evans as Gaston, Josh Gad as Le Fou, Ian McKellen as Cogsworth, Ewan McGregor as Lumiere, Emma Thompson as Mrs. Potts, Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Plumette, Stanley Tucci as Cadenza, Kevin Kline as Maurice, and Audra McDonald as Garderobe, according to Entertainment Weekly

Beauty and the Beast will hit theaters on March 17, 2017.
