If you're the parent of a child with special needs, you face many challenges. Something as seemingly simple as taking a picture can be a major task. Autism Speaks has teamed up with Simon Property to host a special "Caring Bunny" event at the Empire Mall.

On Sunday, April 2 from 9:00-11:00 AM, the Empire Mall will provide a subdued and welcoming environment for children with special needs and their families and you'll be able to get a picture taken with the Easter Bunny. After the photos are taken, they will be available for purchase. The private event will be fun and sensory-friendly for children with autism and other special needs.

Pre-registration is required for the Caring Bunny event. The event will be held during private mall hours, so you'll need to enter the Mall through the entrance near Sephora.

As for the furry friends in your household, they can meet the Easter Bunny too.

Most dogs and cats like to chase bunnies, but on Sunday, April 9 from 6:00-7:30 PM at the Empire Mall, your pet can get their picture taken with one.

The Mall will host a special Easter event for pets. Your pets can pose with the Easter Bunny. You must pre-register for this event. After pictures are taken, they will be available for purchase.
