I have mixed feelings on the A-L-S "Ice Bucket Challenge."

While I applaud people for helping support the fight against A-L-S by donating money, I'm starting to believe the whole Ice Bucket Challenge thing is now becoming more of a contest to see how we can out do each other when it comes to creative, outrageous, ways to douse yourself with ice cold water. The true spirit and meaning of the challenge is rapidly getting lost.

Regardless of how you feel on the subject, I have a feeling most people will agree when it comes to this news. This Halloween you'll be able to buy an Ice Bucket Challenge costume. Really?

Nothing like some company attempting to profit off a mechanism that was originally designed to raise money for people who struggle everyday with Lou Gehrig's disease.

Who in their right mind is going to be a fan of this?

I guess the costume is a blue plastic bucket with a sheet of plastic coming out, and fake ice cubes attached to the sheet.

Word has it you have to walk around holding it over your head all night, so better make sure your shoulders are nice and strong prior to Halloween night.

The costume also comes complete with a blue ice cube tray that you can carry with your other hand.

The Ice Bucket Challenge costume will sell for $39.99, plus an additional $10.00 for shipping and handling.

There is one redeeming bit of news in all of this, the company making the costume says they'll donate $10.00 to A-L-S for every costume they sell.
