We are big fans of Channing Tatum. (If you couldn't already tell, we're also big fans of the image above of Channing in drag from 'SNL'...) And it turns out, so are you. Facebook today released their 2012 trends and the top 10 movies for the year included a whole lot of Tatum.

We're not exactly sure how Facebook extrapolated this data to compile this "Facebook 2012 Trends" list, but they've released their lists of the Top 10 Movies of the Year. And it might surprise you. No, not that 'The Hunger Games' and 'The Avengers' were at the top, but that the list of 10 films included three films starring Channing Tatum. And that all three of those films ranked higher than 'The Dark Knight Rises.'

Channing Tatum > Batman, says you.

What's interesting about the list (which you can see in full below), is that it doesn't always correlate to box-office success. Sure, 'The Hunger Games' and 'The Avengers' made a lot of money but at least one of these films ('Magic Mike,' which finished in the Top 3) won't even be one of the 20 highest grossing films of the year. And by contrast, 'The Dark Knight Rises' is the second biggest moneymaker of the year and was less popular on Facebook than 'The Vow.' And 'Ted' - a movie with 7 million Facebook likes - also shows up nowhere on this list.

Take a look at the list below and see if you agree and if these are a fair representation of the "trending" films of 2012.

1. 'The Hunger Games'
2. 'The Avengers'
3. 'Magic Mike'
4. 'The Vow'
5. 'Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2'
6. '21 Jump Street'
7. 'The Dark Knight Rises'
8. 'Dr. Seuss' The Lorax'
9. 'Skyfall'
10. 'Prometheus'
