It hasn't even been a week and I'm already in trouble with the Facebook police.

It all started last week when I started "friending" people.  Being new to this whole social media thing, I have to admit I wasn't quite sure how to go about friending folks - but when has that ever stopped me.

Seeing all the suggestions on the right hand side of my home page, I figure, "What the heck, they must all want to be friends with me."  So I start at the top and begin friending away.

Shortly after that, Facebook sends me a message saying I'm "going to fast."  Okay, I can slow down.  Then they make me verify all my requests by typing in letters and numbers.  No problem.  I can do that too.

That's when the big, scary message popped up saying I was banned from friending anyone for 48 hours.  Really!  I'm already being put in time-out!

So I wait the two days, and begin friending people again.  That's when Facebook contacted me and, basically told me, "You really don't know how this whole Facebook thing works, do you?"  Well now you ask.  Where were you 48 hours ago?  That's when they made me read some sort of disclosure about how to friend people.

So, the long and short of it is, I now know how to "Facebook."  Just to be on the safe side though, why don't you friend me...that way no one gets in trouble!
