What's your "fail safe" gift that you know the recipient won't even think about returning? I had some discussions with family and friends and here is what we've come up with how about you?

Socks

White chocolate covered peanuts and pretzels

Double chocolate brownies

Crochet cap, wood sign, photograph, etc

Restaurant gift cards, and movie passes

When I really care about someone, I really want them to know how special they are, not only to me, but to others. I love getting as many of the person's loved ones to conspire with me, and write out their "Christmas Wishes" for that person on pretty pieces of cardstock with simple decoration, say a rubber stamp on the front or a ribbon (or glitter!!). I get a small gift bag, and collect all of the christmas wishes, decorate the bag to match the wish cards, and present the wishes to that important person in my life. Hugs arealmost always a direct result, and often tears and HUGE smiles.

A special note handwritten telling them I would like to spend time with them and make a special date of it. Go to their favorite places and learn why they like them so much.
