Saturday morning, June 21, the Sioux Falls police and fire departments responded to a water rescue call at Falls Park.

According to reports a caller said that a man had jumped off a railroad bridge into the Big Sioux River. Emergency personal checked all the bridges in the area and both sides of the river but did not find the caller or any sign of someone in the river.

Police located the owner of the phone that made the call and further investigation led officers to Andrew Haight who was arrested for warrants and false reporting.
