He has been gone for over 20 years yet his creativity and music has inspired a generation! Kurt Cobain was the leader of Nirvana, the multi-platinum grunge band that redefined the sound of the nineties.

Now a documentary film about about the lead singers life premiered at the 2015 Sundance Film Festival. It will be released in theaters across the globe by Universal Pictures and will premiere on television  on HBO on May 4, 2015.

What can you expect from the film? Well roughly 85% of the material will be never been seen or rarely seen. Also several audio clips, portions of a recorded autobiography, a Cobain cover of The Beatles' "And I Love Her," extensive home movies of Kurt’s childhood, and never before seen interviews with Kurt’s father, mother, and sister. The film also features never before seen footage of Kurt at home with Courtney and Frances.
