Floating Spa Business Set to Open in Sioux Falls

How about this for relaxation! A new floating spa business is set to open up in Sioux Falls next week! Escape Float Spa will feature float tanks designed to deliver sensory deprivation.

The pods are four feet by eight feet and filled with between 10 and 12 inches of water which is 93.5 degrees, about the temperature of your skin. Epsom salt is added, which allows users to easily float. The density of the salt water allows your body to rest on the surface in an environment that is 80% less gravity than normal; giving muscles and joints amazing relief from constant strain also allowing the spine and neck to decompress and fully stretch out effortlessly.

The company says it will offer many different float packages! Escape Float Spa will be located in a strip mall at 3400 W. 49th St. A ribbon cutting ceremony will be on Wednesday at 11AM. The spa plans to open for customers June 23, 2015.
